Overview:

Qualifications:
This position is for a senior level or manager level Android driver developer with at least 6 years of driver experience. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work closely with the chip development team to architect a driver and be able to understand the system hardware as well as software. The candidate must have strong debug skills, be familiar with standard debug tools, and must be able to work with cross-site teams.
Developer Tasks include:
·         Designing, developing and delivering core set of device drivers for Android/Linux systems.
·         Integrating SW stacks on the hardware platform and do appropriate testing to ensure the driver is production ready. 
·         Troubleshoot, debug and resolve all software and platform related issues. 
·         Write specifications and documentation for the driver.
·         Provide a release flow for standard production builds.
Manager Tasks include:
·         Manage a team SW engineers in the US and Taiwan.
·         Coordinate team tasks and provide guidance on priority and debugging.
·         Facilitate weekly meetings and provide individual support to the SW engineers
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
·         3 to 5 years of experience in Android/Linux Driver development
·         Must have solid driver development experience
·         Proficient in C and/or C++
·         Linux system level programming
·         Linux kernel debugging skills
·         Work with cross-site teams (Taiwan and USA)
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
·         Windows WDF/WDM driver knowledge
·         iOS/OS X driver knowledge
·         Previous experience with USB device drivers
·         Previous management or small team lead experience
